             Arthur Jeffery Dempster attended many schools across the world to become educated in the field of physics. Since he was born in Toronto, Canada the first institution he attended was the University of Toronto and is where he obtained his bachleors and master's degree in the years 1909 and 1910. A notable paper written by Arthur Dempster at the University of Toronto was on the topic of tidal theory proposed by George Darwin.

Education in Germany 

            After Arthur obtained hid bachelors and masters degree at UFT he moved to Germany in 1911 and attended a handful of Universities. These universities included Munich, Gottingen, and Wurzburg. The most notable one he attended in Germany was the University of Wurzburg. This is because it's where he started to study the deflection of positive ion beams by electric and magnetic fields under the teaching of proffesor Wilhelm Wien.

University of Chicago 

        After Arthur Jeffery Dempster's time in Germany he moved to the United Sates of America where became a citizen and attended the University of Chicago in 1916. This is where he finished his doctorate in physics and graduated.
